Lincoln Police investigating truck vs. bicyclist crash

LINCOLN, Neb. -- A bicyclist was taken to a Lincoln hospital with life-threatening injuries after a crash Monday night. 

Lincoln Police were called to the scene at Cotner Boulevard and A Street around 8:00 p.m.

According to LPD, the driver of the truck had a green light and was turning onto southbound Cotner when they hit the bicyclist. 

Sections of A Street and Cotner Boulevard were shut down while police investigated the crash. They have since reopened. 

The crash remains under investigation.
