Beatrice baseball wins first two games of the week, dominates Fairbury

BEATRICE - Beatrice just keeps on rolling.
The Orangemen won their first two games of the week, 10-5 on Monday over Seward and a complete domination of Fairbury 24-1 on Tuesday.
Beatrice's win over Fairbury was kicked off by a 10-run first inning and a 13-run third inning, including a grand slam by Austin Burroughs. Tucker Timmerman drove in a handful of runs to continue his red hot start to the season. The Orangemen are now 6-0 and have only given up 15 runs through those first six games of the year.
The winning pitchers for the Monday, Tuesday contests were Parker Tegtmeier in 3.2 IP over Seward, while Aiden Russel earned the win over Fairbury in his first start of the year. Deegan Nelson also picked up a save on Monday.
Beatrice is back in action in Omaha on Thursday to take on Elkhorn North.
