Riverside honored for 25 years of service by chevy representatives

FAIRBURY - A southeast Nebraska Chevrolet dealership is being recognized for its many years of service.

Riverside Chevrolet in Fairbury has been in business for decades and was honored by chevy reps for their 25 years of service. Owner Dick Newton has had the business in his family throughout his life and his love of cars has earned him prestigious recognition.

“Was happy to get it," Newton said. "You know, there’s dealers that come and go, but we’ve been lucky to have been here even before that 25 years, so we’re happy to get it and we hope to continue it on down the road to come."

The recognition was originally supposed to come earlier, but the pandemic postponed that to now. Newton says the 25 years of service wouldn’t have been made possible without the business and support of the Fairbury community.

“Super loyal customers in sales and service both,” Newton said. “We really appreciate the business and seeing those friendly faces on a daily basis.”
