Gage Area Growth Enterprise honored for website redesign

BEATRICE – A local economic development organization has received some recognition for its newly-redesigned website.

Gage Area Growth Enterprise, known as NGage, recently began using a redesigned website to describe the area in its efforts to recruit business.
"We've been going through that update with the content, but it's a whole new look and layout. We actually just got....we were named the number three best economic development website for 2022...so we were excited about that."

NGage Executive Director Trevor Lee says the organization has worked with Minnesota-based Golden Shovel Agency. Using the slogan, "Opportunity Grows Here"….the NGage website address is:  ngagegroup.org

The opening to the website makes use of video of business, industry, educational, recreational and other community assets, and includes the use of drone footage.  Lee says a series of videos have been produced depicting opportunities within the area.  "These videos are directed towards students, instructors and parents. So, we try to go beyond just our website and our social media."

In a quarterly report to county officials this week, Lee says the economic development organization currently has six active recruitment projects representing several economic sectors.
