Lancaster County to enforce mask mandates

The mask mandate is back in Lancaster County Health District.

LINCOLN-LANCASTER, Neb.-- The mask mandate is back in Lancaster County Health District. 

Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Director Pat Lopez, says more than one thousand cases of COVID-19 were reported on Friday with a 27% positivity rate. 

Because of this, the health department is bringing back the indoor mask mandate for Lancaster County it will go into effect Saturday through February 11th. 

The COVID-19 risk dial for Lancaster County has been in the 'red' severe risk range for the past couple of weeks.
