BEATRICE – Beatrice Public Schools is seeing a slight uptick in the number of Covid cases detected among staff and students.

District 15 has been tracking the percentage of positive cases over the past several weeks.  Generally, the number has stayed below one percent of the staff and student population.

The district reports on its website that the percentage of those testing positive for Covid is now nearing 1.5%...the highest figure since mid-August.

The percentage remains below the 10% threshold, at which the district would enact measures such as masking, or perhaps a combination of in-person and online learning.

This past Monday, the Beatrice Public School District reaffirmed its Safe Return to Schools plan, without any changes…for now.
