Hatcliff earns second GPAC weekly honor

CRETE - Mak Hatcliff is starting out the new year with a familiar honor. 

The freshman from Beatrice earned her second GPAC Player of the Week honor of the season after a big week on the road. Last week, against Waldorf, Hatcliff dropped 28 points en route to a 68-56 Doane victory. She shot 11-of-17 from the field and grabbed seven rebounds. In the second game of the week, she led Doane with 24 points, eight rebounds, and three steals at No. 22 Concordia. Doane fell 76-70. 

Hatcliff now sits fifth on the Doane freshman scoring chart. 

Doane returns to action with a pair of road games this week, taking on Midland on Wednesday and Briar Cliff on Saturday afternoon.
