BEATRICE - A Beatrice woman is in custody after failing to pull over for a traffic stop.

21-year-old Kelsey Blythe of Beatrice was arrested for Flight to Avoid Arrest and Driving Under Suspension. Just before 7:00 a.m. Wednesday, a deputy with the Gage County Sheriff's office located a white Lincoln town car near SW 45th Rd. and W. HWY 4 that the Beatrice Police Department had been attempting to locate just minutes before.

When the deputy attempted a traffic stop, the vehicle failed to stop, continuing westbound on W. HWY 4. A pursuit transpired and the vehicle turned south on to SW. 89th Road and W. HWY 4 where it came to rest.

Blythe stated she did not stop because she didn't have a valid license.
