LPD scratches suspected lotto ticket thief off wanted list
Local authorities hit the jackpot in their search for a suspect.
LINCOLN, Neb. – A woman accused of multiple thefts of lottery tickets has been apprehended.
The 23-year-old woman is accused four separate thefts, totaling $283. In each case, she reportedly stole lottery tickets and nothing else.
The alleged thefts occurred in April and June.
In each case, the suspect was caught on video leaving in a blue pickup truck.
Lincoln Police located the woman Wednesday morning at Roc’s Stop and Shop at 56th and Holdrege and cited her for four counts of misdemeanor theft.
