I'm no master car thief, but this REALLY seems like a situation where you just get out of your stolen car and walk.

A 20-year-old guy named Daniel Rizza from McKeesport, Pennsylvania stole an Audi SUV on Friday, but as he was driving it away, he ran out of gas.

So . . . he called the POLICE and asked for help because he was stranded.  But he had a "brilliant" plan:  He simply asked them NOT to send an officer to help him, and to send someone else.

For some reason, they sent an officer anyway . . . and the officer realized it was an SUV that had been reported missing earlier that day.  Daniel was arrested and charged with one felony count of receiving stolen property.
