Gage County law officers arrest suspect in Christmas-time burglary

BEATRICE – Authorities have arrested a suspect in a burglary at a southern Gage County bar.
Sheriff’s Deputies say the break-in at the Doghouse Bar in Wymore happened the morning after last Christmas. Law officers responded to a call to the bar located at 122 South 7th, in Wymore.
The business had been broken into, with cash stolen from gaming machines, inside. Through investigation, Gage County law officers developed a suspect in the burglary who was arrested by Beatrice Police this week, after a patrolling officer noticed a man standing by a vehicle had active warrants for his arrest.
44-year-old Levi Fralin, of Beatrice was arrested, facing charges of burglary, possession of burglar tools, criminal trespass, theft by unlawful taking, criminal mischief and criminal possession of financial transaction devices.
Last February 11th, law officers served a search warrant at Fralin’s Beatrice residence, where they recovered several items believed used in the burglary. They also found several stolen credit cards.
In addition to the burglary-related charges, Fralin was also jailed for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and obstruction, following his arrest this week, by the Beatrice Police officer.
