Freeman pulls away from Eagles in second half, punches ticket to state

ADAMS, Neb. - A year removed from a first round state tournament exit, the Freeman Falcons are set to make a return to the Capitol City. 

Freeman avenged a regular loss to Johnson-Brock on Monday night, rolling to a 60-36 win over the Eagles in the district final. A tie game at half, the Falcons outscored Johnson-Brock 21-4 in the third quarter to open up a +20 point lead to cruise to the win. 

Hayden Jansen tied his career best with 18 points en route to the win.

The Falcons will play in Th state tournament next week in Lincoln.
