BEATRICE, Neb. - Lady Orange wrestling is ready to hit the mats in Omaha.

Beatrice is sending six qualifiers to the 2026 NSAA State Wrestling Championships. After a successful season that saw a runner up finish in the district finals, Head Coach Corey Wells says the key was simple - hard work.

"The secret is, there is no secret," Wells said. "Put in the time, the effort, and the work... That's a testament to our girls is they come in to practice every day and they put in the work. That's the most I can be proud of is the effort they put in and the work they put in."

Beatrice's six qualifiers include:

McKinley Cooper-Bock (100)

Aubrey Johnson (105)

Jorja Boller (130)

Andie Gibson (145)

Avery Hofeling (155)

Shaylee Calloway (235)

Jorja Boller missed last years state tournament due to injury, but is excited for the opportunity to make it back to state this year.

"Last year I got hurt at districts, so I didn't get to go to state, but my sophomore year I did," Boller said. "Thrilled to get to go back and represent my school one more time and just have fun."

Girls matches begin at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday.
