Huskers drop two spots in AP Top 25

Nebraska fell to No. 9 in the AP rankings

LINCOLN, Neb. - After a 1-1 week, Nebraska dropped two spots in the AP Top 25, now checking in at No. 9.

The Huskers, ranked seventh last week, fell to No. 13 Purdue 80-77 in overtime on Tuesday and knocked off Northwestern 68-49 on Saturday. The Boilermakers jumped six spots, now ranked sixth.

Nebraska plays two more contests this week with a road trip to Iowa on Tuesday and a home game against Penn State Saturday afternoon.
