Donna R. Atkins, 90, of Beatrice passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Beatrice Health and Rehabilitation. She was born February 12, 1935, in Johnson to John and Ruth (Tilton) Moren. She grew up in Johnson and graduated from Johnson High School. Donna Married Robert L. Atkins on October 18, 1953. They lived in Reno, NV, Lincoln, NE, and then Fort Garland, CO. After Robert passed away, Donna moved back to Nebraska. She enjoyed cross stitching, crocheting, reading, going to the YMCA and attending local concerts. She was a member of Christ Community Church of Beatrice, YMCA, and the International Footprint Association.

Survivors include her sons, Howard Atkins of Hazel Green, AL, David (Carla) Atkins of Crete; daughter, Kris Atkins of Beatrice; grandchildren, Stacey Atkins, Angela (Brian) Lettow, Ashley (David) Mills, Jessica (Juan) Florez, Nathan (Kari) Atkins, and seven great-grandchildren; stepbrother, Jim Mayfield; stepsister, Donna Schultz. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ruth Moren; husband, Robert; brother, George Moren; stepmother, Florence Mayfield-Moren; stepbrother, Jack Mayfield; stepsister, Mary Tietjen.

Memorial services will be held At 10:00 A.M. on Friday, March 21, 2025 at Christ Community Church with Pastor Sam Jackson officiating. Cremation has taken place and there will be no viewing.
