LINCOLN, Neb. - In a roller coaster of a ball game, Lincoln Standing Bear gets their first varsity win, knocking off Beatrice. 

Plating five runs in the bottom of the seventh LSB topped the Orangemen 10-9 thanks to a 2-RBI base hit by Hayden Holdren. 

Beatrice jumped out to an early 2-0 lead as Nolan Schmale drove in two runs in the top of the first, but LSB would tie it in the bottom half. LSB took the lead in the bottom of the fifth 5-3 with a three run frame, before Beatrice rattled off six runs in the sixth to lead it 9-5 before the rally by the Grizzlies in the seventh. 

Beatrice got a strong outing from Ty Weichel on the mound, as the senior tossed six innings, allowing five runs, two earned, on seven hits striking out nine. 

The Orangemen have their official home opener Tuesday hosting Ralston.
