LINCOLN, Neb. -- The Lincoln Police Department intervened a disturbance over property between known associates.

LPD said police were dispatched to the 1400 block of N 20th Street at 2:46 a.m. on July 4 for a disturbance call.

Officers said during the investigation, 30-year-old Julian Trejo Perez was ordered to leave.

The report said Trejo Perez pushed past a friend, reentered the front yard, and began advancing on an officer at the front of the residence.

According to authorities, officer attempted to take Trejo Perez in custody and deployed a TASER device and transported to an area hospital where he was medically cleared to be lodged in jail.

The report said Trejo Perez was cited for second-degree trespassing, resisting arrest, and
obstructing a police officer.
