YORK, Neb. -- A suspect wanted for second-degree murder in Kansas was arrested yesterday in southeast Nebraska.
49-year-old John Adier was driving a semi-truck when he committed a hit-and-run on a vehicle on Interstate 80.
Adier's semi was pulling a cattle trailer, and was found moments after being reported.
He was stopped near the York interchange, and authorities started investigating the incident.
A record check done by the York County Sheriff's Office, showed that Adier had a full extradition warrant out of Kansas for second-degree murder.
Adier was taken into custody without further incident.
He is awaiting extradition to Kansas. He also faces charges in York County for leaving the scene of a property damage accident.
