Lincoln man arrested after woman stabbed in face

A 27-year-old Lincoln man is in custody after a weekend stabbing.

LINCOLN, Neb. -- A 27-year-old Lincoln man is in custody after a weekend stabbing.

According to Officer Erin Spilker, Deltre Steele was booked on suspicion of second-degree assault and use of a deadly weapon in connection to the Saturday incident.

Spilker said that a 21-year-old woman was stabbed in the 2800 block of T Street just after 10:00 a.m. Saturday.

Authorities say the woman's injuries are non-life-threatening.
