Trevor Paul Garton

We celebrate the life of Trevor Paul Garton, a loving and adventurous soul born on April 19, 1994, in Beatrice, Nebraska, who left us far too early on August 9, 2025. Trevor, a man of many talents, lived his life to the fullest, embracing each day with a spirit of adventure and a heart full of compassion. He was a 2012 graduate of Beatrice High School and worked at Trauernicht Tree Removal. His passion for mechanics led him to be an AAA certified mechanic, a testament to his hard work and dedication. As Albert Einstein once said, "I have no special talents. I am only passionately curious." Trevor embodied this curiosity, his hobbies ranged from welding, tinkering with cars to taking things apart just to put them back together. He was the melody of life's music, filling every room with joy and laughter.
Trevor was a funny man, with a wit that could lighten any room and a loyalty that made him a steadfast friend. His love for his family was paramount, especially his children, Caiden Peters and Harley Garton. Whether it was attending Bullets baseball games for Caiden or playing endless hours of Furbies with Harley, he was a devoted father.
He is survived by his loving girlfriend, Shelbi Bartles; children, Caiden Peters and Harley Garton; father, Rich Garton; siblings, Shelby (Gehde) Gross, Brad Garton, and Chassidy Hinkle; his grandmother, Connie Hartig; his nieces and nephews, Brody Garton, Jorja & Rory Gross, Audi & Dominic Rendros, and Sloane Krutz; mother-in-law, Dona Bartels, father-in-law, Clint Bartels; sister-in-law, Crystal (Josh) Krutz; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of extended family and friends. Trevor was preceded in death by his mother, Debbie Hartig; grandparents, Denny Hartig and Orville and Harriett P. Garton; friends, Jordan White, Alex Radar, and Drew Beach.
