BEATRICE - Areas of eastern Nebraska could see some rain, before temperatures become milder through the holiday weekend.

Some thunderstorms producing heavy rain rolled across southeast Nebraska and northeast Kansas late Tuesday afternoon into the early evening hours.  

No hail reports were received in southeast Nebraska, but radar pictures indicated heavy rainfall within a few of the storms. 

There is a marginal risk for severe weather for eastern Nebraska, for Thursday afternoon and evening.....with a more elevated severe weather potential in areas of northwest Iowa.

After recent days in the 90s.....topping 100 over the weekend, eastern Nebraska temperatures will settle into the 80s and upper 70s, for the Labor Day Holiday weekend.
