John Edwin Fischer, a humble and dedicated lifelong resident of Beatrice, Nebraska, passed away in Lincoln on April 4, 2025. Born on December 28, 1943, to John and Minnie (Ruyle) Fischer in Beatrice, John lived an admirable 81 years in the county he loved. He was a graduate of Filley High School in 1962. He served his country in the Nebraska Army National Guard from 1964 until 1970. John was a farmer by trade working of farms in the area. He spent his entire career in agriculture until his retirement in 2013 from the Farmers COOP. He was a member of the Pickrell Methodist Church.

 John remained a bachelor his entire life, dedicating himself to his work and his family. His humble roots and values guided him throughout his life, making him an anchor to those who knew and loved him. He is survived by his brother Robert (Sig. Other Bev Anderson) Fischer of Lincoln, his sister Jeanette Fischer of Beatrice, and his loving niece Elaine Therberge of Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Minnie Fischer, his sister JoAnn Schwochert, and one nephew.

There will be no viewing, visitation or services at this time. Cremation has taken place.
