Paul Schneider, 93 years of age, of Beatrice, NE passed away on May 30, 2024. Born on April 11, 1931, in Vinton, IA, he was not only a respected physical therapist in Beatrice, Nebraska for five decades but also a beloved member of the Beatrice City Council in the 1960s. His passion for serving others extended beyond his professional life. He loved playing tennis, fishing, gardening, and engaging in the strategic game of chess. Paul's voice also brought joy to many, as he often sang at nursing homes with his dear friend Gerald Kleveland.

Paul's life was characterized by service; he served his country in the United States Air Force from 1951-1955, and he served his patients with care and devotion. He was a proud member of the Sertoma Club and Physical Therapy Association, and his achievements in his field were numerous. He leaves behind a loving family including his companion for the past 12 years Arlene Scherling: daughters Sue (Therett) Lewis of Glendale, AZ, Linda (Doug) Hanna of Lincoln, Kay Roesch of Denver, and Connie Schneider of Sedona, AZ; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; and sisters, Nancy (Rex) Rickels, Bonnie (Carl) Egger, and Sue (Larry) Husmann; and other extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Imogene Schneider; his beloved wife, Mary "Molly" Schneider; and son-in-law, Dave Roesch. As we remember Paul, let us celebrate his life and the impact he has left on us all.
