Marjorie Irene Curran, known fondly as Marge, of Beatrice, Nebraska, passed away on April 1, 2024. Born to Gilbert and Nellie Johnson on October 20, 1928, in Union Center, Nebraska. Marjorie's life was marked by her humble spirit and witty humor. In her 95 years, Marjorie was a beacon of light, joy, and strength to all who knew her. She was a dedicated wife, first to Leonard Mueller, and then to Robert Curran. 

Her love for horses lead her to volunteering as a Equestrian Office Manager for J & L Riding Stables before buying her own horses. Her days were filled with joy being down at the ranch with her friends, the horses and her children. In 1991 after living in California for several years, she with her family to return to Beatrice to retire.

Marjorie's love for life was evident in her hobbies. She was an avid reader, a master of crocheting, and a lover of cooking and horses. Despite the loss of her parents, her husbands, her daughter Donna Mueller, and her sister Virgie Abrams, Marjorie's resilient spirit shone through. She is survived by her daughter Sandra L. Mueller of San Diego; and her grandsons John T. Mueller of Alexander, Virginia and Jeremiah D. McClintock of Beatrice.

A public visitation will be held at Laughlin-Hoevet Funeral Home, 505 North 9th Street, Wymore, Nebraska, 68466, on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at 10:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. The funeral service will also be live-streamed for those who cannot attend in person at https://my.gather.app/remember/marjorie-curran at www.ghchapel.com. Burial will be at the Wymore Cemetery. A memorial has been established to the families choice for future designation with the funeral home in charge
