LINCOLN, Neb. — The Auburn Bulldogs held Ashland-Greenwood to a season-low point total in a 43-32 state semifinals win.

The victory propels the #3 Bulldogs to the Class C-1 title game for the sixth consecutive season. With the win, Auburn avenged losses to #2 Ashland-Greenwood from the last two championship games.

Auburn grabbed an early lead and held the Bluejays to just 11 points in the first half. The tough defense continued into the second half. Ashland-Greenwood didn’t score a point in the third quarter until the final 30 seconds of the period. The Bluejays cut the deficit to six points with 2:30 to go, but the Bulldogs made free throws to close out the win. Auburn won despite not making a fourth-quarter field goal until the final 30 seconds.
