LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office said they’ve been able to talk to the author of a handwritten letter sent to Crime Stoppers, but it didn’t bring them any closer to locating Tyler Goodrich.

LSO Chief Deputy Ben Houchin said the letter came from a woman who had a vision of what happened to Goodrich. Houchin said the letter was specific but it didn’t contain any evidence to further the investigation.

“He was running and got hit by a drunk driver. In her vision the driver panicked and hit him. But again we have nothing to show any of that is what happened,” Houchin said.

LSO said they are doing everything they can to find Tyler, who has been missing since Nov. 3, 2023.

“Even though this did not lead to anything, I’m glad that investigators were able to find the individual and determine what she knew,” Houchin said.
