LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A former state senator is trying to figure out why he was the victim of swatting, with Lincoln Police showing up yet again to his home.

Adam Morfeld posted on social media on Monday a picture saying “what a complete waste of police resources and time.”

Swatting happens when an emergency call is placed with the intention of drawing a large response from law enforcement. Usually, to someone’s home, and is illegal in Nebraska.

Morfeld, who currently serves as the executive director of Civic Nebraska and as chairman of the Nebraska Legal Action Fund, was also swatted after Christmas.
