FAIRBURY, Neb. -- A woman reportedly blacked out during an accident in Fairbury on Monday.

There was a two car accident Monday night at the intersection of 14th and H Streets that involved a Ford Explorer and a Cadillac DeVille, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department. 

The Ford Explorer, being driven by a 28-year-old woman, was traveling east when she said that she blacked out. 

The Cadillac, being driven by a 21-year-old woman, was going west and turned south, colliding with the other vehicle at the intersection.

The Ford ended up over the curb and in the yard of a house to the southeast, while the Cadillac jumped the curb and hit a utility pole to the southeast. 

The driver of the Cadillac was traveling with a 29-year-old man, a three-year-old and a two-year-old. 

All occupants of both vehicles were transported to JCH&L by Jefferson County Ambulance Department and the road was cleared and reopened after an hour.
