HEBRON, Neb --  The Thayer County Sheriff's Department arrested an Oklahoma woman over the weekend after a highway stop.  On Saturday, a Sheriff's Deputy initiated a traffic stop on Hwy 81 for speeding.  While approaching the vehicle and making contact with the driver, the deputy detected a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle.

The K9 unit was then called to conduct a probable cause search of the vehicle.

Deputies then located marijuana, THC, THC gummies, and psilocybin mushrooms which were packaged individually in clear baggies.

The female driver, Sheryl Broadwater 62, of Blackwell, OK was then arrested for multiple felony drug charges including: Possession of Controlled Substance (Class IV Felony), Possession of Controlled Substance-Sch1/2/3 (Class IIIA Felony), and Possession with intent to Deliver (Class IIA Felony).  

Broadwater was transported to Fairbury and lodged in the Jefferson County Jail.
