LINCOLN, Neb. -- A 24-year-old man has life-threatening injuries after a single-vehicle accident in Lincoln Thursday evening.

Officers with the Lincoln Police Department, along with Lincoln Fire and Rescue, were dispatched around 5:45 p.m. Thursday.

Officials responded to a rescue alarm outside the LFR Station 14.

LPD said that arriving officers found a 24-year-old male had been driving a Ford F150 heading south on NW 1st/Barons Road and Chadderton Circle, when he struck the median curb. 

Authorities said that the truck began to roll, and the driver was ejected from the vehicle. 

The driver was taken to a local hospital where he is getting treatment for life-threatening injuries.
