LINCOLN, Neb. -- A man was arrested after reportedly hitting two vehicles in Lincoln.

The Lincoln Police Department said officers were sent to 70th St. and O St. around 1:10 a.m. on Feb. 11 for a reported accident.

Officers said a Ford F150 and a Cadillac XL Roadster were both headed north on 70th St. and had a green arrow to turn west onto O St. A Mercedes E350 was traveling east on O St. and reportedly hit the F150, forcing it into the Cadillac.

According to authorities, the driver of the Mercedes was 49-year-old Pierce Williams. Williams reportedly fled the scene on foot but was found in the area by a police service dog.

Officials said multiple people from the Mercedes and the F150 had minor injuries and were treated at a nearby hospital.

LPD said Williams was taken to jail and cited for leaving the scene of an injury accident, driving during suspension, driving under the influence, violate traffic signal, and no proof of insurance. Williams blood alcohol content level was reportedly .101.
