NORFOLK, Neb. -- Reservations at a campground in Norfolk can now be made for the upcoming camping season.

The City of Norfolk announced that visitors can make online reservations for a campsite at the Ta-Ha-Zouka Park campground.

Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis for the 2023 camping season that starts on April 15. Reservations can be made on the City of Norfolk website.

“This is another internal reform, prompted by Parks and Recreation management, to make Parks services more accessible, convenient, and user-friendly for Norfolk families and visitors,” said Mayor Josh Moenning.

The rate for camping without a concrete pad and electrical hookup is $16 a night while the rate for camping with a concrete pad and electrical hookup is $24 a night. The local fees and taxes are not included in these rates.

“We are excited to rollout our online reservations for camping at the Ta-Ha-Zouka Campground," said Nathan Powell, Parks and Recreation Director. "Campers can now be guaranteed a campsite when they arrive at Ta-Ha-Zouka Park. You can reserve your spot today.”
