LINCOLN, Neb. -- Three people were arrested for drug-related charges and equipment that was reported stolen from a Lincoln Police Department recruits officer was found. 

LPD said officers with the Lincoln Lancaster County Narcotics Task Force talked to 55-year-old Peautray Green in his vehicle parked at StorageMart, 6101 Cornhusker Highway on Nov. 18 around 3:00 p.m.

Officers said Green told them he had at least three firearms inside of his storage unit and a search warrant was used on the unit. They found four firearms inside that unit; 12-gauge shotgun, .380 caliber handgun, .22 caliber rifle and .44 caliber handgun.

According to authorities, the shotgun had been reported stolen in Missouri Valley, Iowa and the .380 caliber handgun was reported stolen from a home near 48th St. and Y St. on April 11, 2022.

Officials said they used another search warrant for Green's residence, near 19 Garfield St. and found six people inside that they talked to. Officers searched one bedroom and reportedly found 4.1 grams of methamphetamine and three more firearms; 9mm handgun, .22 caliber revolver and .380 caliber handgun. The 9mm handgun was reported stolen out of Omaha.

Police said they also found 1.4 grams of meth along with ballistic body armor and rifle plates, which had been reported stolen out of an LPD recruits officer's vehicle on Nov. 11, inside another bedroom.

According to authorities, Green was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance, seven counts of felony possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and three counts of felony possession of a stolen firearm.

LPD said 59-year-old Lawrence Harris was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance and 24-year-old Annastacia Morrow was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance.
