LINCOLN, Neb. -- A Lincoln man was arrested for a burglary after setting off the store's motion alarm.

According to authorities, officers were dispatched to Exotic CBD, 4640 Bair Ave., for a reported burglary in process at 4:40 a.m. on Tuesday. Officers were contacted by the store owner after he had received a motion alert on his security system.

The Lincoln Police Department said the owner reportedly looked over the security and saw a person was inside the store at that time. Officers then talked to 21-year-old Xavier Grant, near N 33rd St. and Fletcher Ave.

Officers said Grant matched the physical description of the person seen in the security video. They also found several products from the store on Grant.

LPD said Grant was able to enter the store by throwing a piece of concrete through the front glass door and the estimated damage is $450. He was lodged in jail for burglary.
