FAIRBURY, Neb. -- A Fairbury business is stepping up to support the town's youth sports.

Chappell Roofing in Fairbury is donating new roofs to Fairbury baseball and softball.

Fairbury Mayor Spencer Brown said they'll replace the roof on the baseball field's concession stand and the main building at the softball complex.

Brown announced the donation at the town's most recent city council meeting where he praised the company's generosity.

The announcement comes right at the end of Fairbury's legion baseball season and start of softball season.

No timetable for the project's completion was given at the meeting.
