LINCOLN, Neb. -- One person was arrested after reportedly making terroristic threats to family members on Thursday morning in Lincoln.

Around 5:30 a.m., 22-year-old Adak Majak was reportedly engaged in an argument with her 20-year-old sister at a residence in the 7200 block of Buckingham Drive.

The reported victim allegedly threw a rag at Majak, and Majak reportedly responded by throwing a glass back.

Neither party was struck, LPD says.

Other family members reportedly restrained Majak, but LPD says she escaped and grabbed two steak knives from the kitchen and swung them at the reported victim. She also threatened to kill everyone around her, LPD said.

Family members were reportedly able to restrain Majak again and remove the knives from her possession before police arrived. Majak was arrested for terroristic threats and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
