BEATRICE – The Gage County Veterans Service Office says cloth American Flags donated by area families for display on the county courthouse grounds on patriotic holidays will soon be returned to them.

Through a private fundraising campaign, all-weather American Flags were acquired this past year…which stand up to weather conditions much better when they are being flown on the courthouse grounds and at the Veterans Memorial Park, in Beatrice.

Gage County Veterans Service Officer Scott Bates says the cloth flags will be carefully folded on February 17th, 5 p.m., at the Veterans Club on Dorsey Street.

The flags will then be returned to families who donated them……at the Veterans Club in Beatrice, February 23rd through the 25th, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., and on Saturday, February 26th, from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
