One person injured in rural Gage County collision of pickups
Emergency personnel from Clatonia, PIckrell respond to scene of wreck

BEATRICE – A collision early Thursday evening between two pickups happened at a rural northern Gage County intersection, about five miles northeast of Pickrell.
Gage County Sheriff’s Officers say a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 37-year-old Kurt Lineweber of DeWitt allegedly failed to yield at a stop sign and was hit by a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado driven by a 16-year-old female, from Firth.
A passenger in Lineweber’s truck was taken by ambulance to Bryan Health West Medical Center in Lincoln. Gage County officers cited Lineweber for a stop sign violation and for driving under suspension.
Clatonia Fire and Pickrell fire responded to the 6:45 p.m. accident, at South 54th and East Buckeye Road.
