Carol J. Elliott, 91 years of age, of Beatrice passed away peacefully on Monday, October 20, 2025. She was born on January 28, 1934 to Harvey and Esther Kreuscher in Clatonia and was a 1952 graduate of Beatrice High School. She and Richard (Dick) Elliott were married on November 9, 1952. She was a member of the Centenary United Methodist Church (taught Sunday School) and was a founding member of the former Beatrice Mrs. Jaycees. Carol was a former Cub Scout den mother, helped start the Bargain Box, was a hairdresser for her children and friends, and she was known for her top-notch baking and cooking.

 She loved her role as a wife and homemaker and raising her two sons. She was a fixture at Beatrice sporting events, especially baseball games where she served as the unofficial scorekeeper for every game and she would serve a thermos full of ice-cold tea to refresh players after games. She and Dick never missed a game that the boys participated in, even in college. She loved babysitting for her grandchildren and spoiling them in every possible way. Carol was a Master Bridge Player and an amazing artist.

Survivors include; sons Scott Elliott of Beatrice and Jeff Elliott and wife Mary Helen of Saratoga Springs, Utah; 6 grandchildren Meghan McCollester and husband Chad, Ben Elliott, Sam Elliott, Joseph Elliott and wife Karma, Elizabeth Elliott, and Catherine Elliott; and 4 great grandchildren Grant and Blake McCollester and Ri and Gwen Elliott.  She was preceded in death by her husband Dick; her parents; and brother Robert Kreuscher."

Celebration of Life Services will be held at a later date.
