Dale L. Marr, 78, of Beatrice passed away Monday, October 20, 2025, at his home. He was born on March 4, 1947, and graduated from Beaver Crossing High School. Dale served his country in the United States Army for two years during the Vietnam War. He lived in Florida and Nebraska, working different jobs over the years before retiring from Farmland in Crete. He was a member of the Eagles of Beatrice, Blue Valley Shrine Club, Bitting-Norman Post # 27 of the American Legion and Geddes-Thober Post #1077 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars both of Beatrice. Dale was active in the Masonic Lodge and the  Shrine, taking children to the Shriners Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis and participating in the Shriners fireman group during parades. He enjoyed camping, fishing, golfing, cutting firewood, telling stories, helping people in need, and watching Nebraska football and NASCAR.

Survivors include his wife, Connie and dog, Odie of Beatrice; step daughter, Melissa (Robert) Mott of Bellevue; step grandchildren, Sophia and Lucas; brother, Don (Peg) Marr of Racine, WI; sisters, Judy (Steve) Morton of Plymouth and Mary (Bob) Parham of Hickman; sister-in-law, Pam (Steve) Walker of Gothenburg; step children, step grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Lavern and Marian Stonerook; first wife, Marvel (2013); sister, Nancy (Bob) Stonerook; brother, Val Marr.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Centenary United Methodist Church of Beatrice with Pastor Paixao Baptista officiating. Inurnment will take place at Evergreen Home Cemetery of Beatrice with military honors conducted by the Nebraska Army National Guard and Bitting-Norman Post #27 of the American Legion of Beatrice. There will be a register book available on Friday at Fox Funeral Home from noon until 8:00 P.M.
