Elizabeth M. Rademacher

Elizabeth M. Rademacher, 96, of Adams, passed away Saturday night, May 17, 2025 at her home. She was born on December 9, 1928 on a farm south of Adams to Krene and Fanny (Harms) Buss. Elizabeth was baptized on December 19, 1928 at Zion Lutheran Church and confirmed on April 18, 1943 at the American Lutheran Church. Her confirmation verse was: Psalm 27 verse 1. She attended Coffman country school and also took classes in Beatrice and Lincoln. On May 13, 1947 she married Lubbe G. Rademacher. They lived on a farm southwest of Adams until 1992 when they moved into Adams. They were blessed with three children, Leslie, Phyllis, and Paul. She loved raising her children. Elizabeth was a member of the American Lutheran Church in Adams, Dorcas Circle, and the Sunshine Club. She enjoyed gardening, reading, sewing, playing dominoes, and doing crossword puzzles.
Survivors include her sons, Leslie (Marcella) Rademacher of Adams and Paul (Pamela) Rademacher of Lincoln; ten grandchildren, Jacob (Heidi) Rademacher of Lincoln, Kristen (Kevin) Meyer of Adams, Brian (Nicole) Rademacher of Syracuse, Eric Rademacher of Omaha, Chad Rademacher of Lincoln, Cherise (Casey) Foley of Fremont, Katrina (Lucas) Novotny of Columbus, Jodeen (Colton) Dyer of Montana, Nicole Jones of California, and Collin Jones of Montana; 11 great-grandchildren, Zoe, Callie, Easton, Emersyn, Grant, Wesley, Grace, Gabe, Scarlet, Kinley, and Millie; two brothers, Walter (Ruth) Buss of Adams and Alvin (Barb) Buss of Beatrice; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lubbe, who died on June 6, 2001; her daughter, Phyllis Jones and her husband, Bruce; grandson, Craig Jones; parents, Krene and Fanny Buss; three brothers, Henry, John, and Alfred; sister, Grace Harms; sister-in-law, Clara Buss.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at the Fox Funeral Home of Beatrice with Chaplain Sharon Schuster and Hospice Chaplain Jean Sedivy officiating. Burial will be at 1:00 P.M. at the Highland Cemetery of Adams prior to the memorial service. The body will lie in state on Monday, May 26, 2025 from from noon until 8:00 P.M. at the Fox Funeral Home of Beatrice. The family will greet relatives and friends on Monday from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
