Mary Lou Miller, 91, of Lincoln, NE formerly of Douglas, NE, passed away on Tuesday night, April 29, 2025, at The Waterford at College View in Lincoln.  She was born on January 29, 1934, in Lancaster, OH to Wilfred and Olive (Kiner) Lindsey.  Mary Lou attended Rockbridge High School in Rockbridge, OH and later received her degree as a beautician.  On July 2, 1955, she married Leo T. Miller in Rockbridge, OH.  Mary Lou and Leo T. resided in Logan, OH until 1994 and then moved to join their son in Douglas, NE. They were active members in their communities wherever they lived. She was a member of Panama Presbyterian Church where she was active in various church groups.  She loved being a beautician and listening to all types of music. She enjoyed making cards, scarves, quilting, reading, cooking, canning, spending time on the farm and going to church.

Survivors include her daughter, Dawn (Zeke) Carter of Westminster, CO, grandchildren, Cory (Jacqui) Carter and their children Caden and Delu Carter, Chelsea (Jason) Baldwin, John (Chelsea Harders) Miller and their daughter, Wrenlee Miller, Jessica (Zachary) Duncan and their children, Skilar, Paizlee, Piper and Karolina Duncan; sisters, Dolores Hedges, Audrey Garrin, Etta (Fred) Jones and Vicki Reedy; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo T. Miller; parents, Wilfred and Olive Lindsey; son, Malcolm “Mac” Miller; brothers, Clifford Lindsey, Chuck Lindsey and sister, Ruth Gilfillen.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Panama Presbyterian Church of Panama with Pastor Darin Bentzinger officiating.  Interment will be at the Panama Cemetery of Panama, Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to the service.
