Kimball man appears in court following arrest
KIMBALL -- A Kimball man who was arrested last week appeared in Kimball County Court via Zoom from the Kimball County Jail on Dec. 18.
Thirty-five-year-old Joseph Robinson waived his right to a preliminary hearing and his case was bound over to District Court for arraignment on Jan. 7.
His attorney Stacy Bach also requested a reduction in bond from $50,000 to however much Judge Randin Roland would deem appropriate. Judge Roland granted a reduction in bond to $5,000, with the right to post 10%.
The Kimball County Sheriff’s Office arrested Robinson on Dec. 11 following a routine traffic stop. When the deputy made contact with Robinson, he fled on foot. The deputy apprehended him again, after which he was charged with possession of a controlled substance and obstruction of law enforcement.
