NORFOLK - An opening night thriller saw Scottsbluff hit big shots late and beat Norfolk on the road 50-47.

The game saw both the Bearcats and Panthers trade big shots, with both teams shooting well from the field.

But both offenses went cold starting in the fourth quarter. The two teams combined for just three made field goals in the final period and none in overtime, with junior Ava Reed hitting clutch free throws late to clinch the win.
