Eldean D. Robertson
Eldean D. Robertson, 93, of Beatrice passed away on Friday, November 8, 2024 at Homestead House in Beatrice. She was born on December 12, 1930 in Plymouth to John and Anna (Sietz) Hahn. Eldean attended Immanuel Lutheran Parochial School near Plymouth and was also confirmed at Immanuel in March of 1945. She graduated from Plymouth High School in May of 1949. Eldean married Marvin Robertson on September 14, 1953 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Beatrice. This union was blessed with five children. She had been employed in Plymouth at Wasserman Wood Products, Rainbow Inn and Plymouth Steakhouse. She was also employed at Beatrice Manor. She was a member of Cornerstone Lutheran Church of Beatrice. She enjoyed baking and watching Husker sports.
Survivors include her daughters, Darla (Patrick) Ramsey of Beatrice, Joni (Ed) Arrants of DeWitt, and Marla Robertson of Deshler; sons, Rob (Jana) Robertson of Beatrice and Rick (Shannon) Robertson of Plymouth; nine grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley Littell of Columbia, MO; sister-in-law, Delores Hahn of Beatrice; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin, who died on October 22, 2005; daughter-in-law, Connie Robertson; grandson, Andy Arrants; great-grandson, Connor Winchester; parents, John and Anna (Seitz) Hahn; brothers, Dean Hahn, Donald (NelvaDine) Hahn and Dale (Elaine) Hahn; parents-in-law, Homer and Clara Robertson; brothers-in-law, Jerry Littell, Harold (Margaret) Robertson and Dean (Shirley) Robertson; sister-in-law Imogene (Otto) Berthold.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at Cornerstone Lutheran Church in Beatrice with Pastor Mike Williams and Chaplain Sharon Schuster officiating. A family prayer service will be held at 9:30 A.M. on Tuesday at the church. The body will lie in state at the Fox Funeral Home on Monday, November 11, 2024, from noon until 8:00 P.M. The family will meet and greet relatives and friends on Monday from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
