Kimball man life-flighted following single-vehicle accident
A Kimball man was involved in a single-vehicle accident north of Kimball Tuesday night.

KIMBALL -- A Kimball man was involved in a single-vehicle accident north of Kimball Tuesday night.
The man was headed northbound on Highway 71 when he went through the median, rolled the vehicle several times and was ejected. He was life-flighted to Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff, and his injuries are unknown.
“Speed and alcohol were contributing factors to the wreck,” said Sheriff David Hottell.
The man’s identity is not being released at this time as it is undergoing an active investigation by the Kimball County Sheriff’s Office and Nebraska State Patrol.
The Kimball County Sheriff’s Office, Nebraska State Patrol, Kimball EMS, Kimball Police Department, and Kimball Fire Department and Air Link responded to the accident.
