LINCOLN, NEB. - Nebraska Volleyball has rattled off 11 straight wins, with nine sweeps since falling to SMU.

As the Huskers prepare for a weekend of Big Ten Volleyball, Head Coach John Cook says Nebraska's focusing on doing the little things right, but also learning from hard lessons earlier in the season.

"We learned some lessons at SMU, UCLA.. We just don't want to go back to where we're giving up big runs and limiting them to one to two point runs and we're trying to get our own runs," Cook said. "That's a lot of what volleyball is about, who can get runs. I just think they're very determined after learning some hard lessons. It's no fun when you play like that."

Nebraska hosts #10 Purdue on Friday night, before Rutgers comes to Lincoln on Sunday.

Senior Merritt Beason credits much of Nebraska's success to sophomore Harper Murray, but not just because of her play on the floor, but how she's responded to a rough off-season.

"I was blown away with the response that she's had... She's looked herself in the mirror to figure out how to be a better teammate and a better person," Beason said. "And to be a leader, which she's stepping into... I'm so proud of her and it's shocked me how much growth she's made."

First serve between Nebraska and the Boilermakers is set for 7:30 p.m. CT while the match with the Scarlet Knights begins at 7:00 p.m. Saturday night.
