BEATRICE – Probation has been revoked, and a 45-year-old Lincoln woman will now serve a prison sentence, for two criminal cases out of Gage County.

Amber Hernandez was resentenced Wednesday by District Judge Rick Schreiner, to two-years in state prison.  In the two criminal cases, she was convicted of drug possession and aiding in a felony,  The cases are from 2021 and 2022.

She had been granted a two-year term of probation in November of 2022…and extended in January of 2023, but probation was revoked after she failed to abide by terms of the sentence.

Hernandez was arrested on a warrant this past March.  The new sentences issued in both cases will be served concurrently.  Hernandez was also ordered to serve one-year of post-release supervision.   She appeared by video from a York women’s facility where she is in custody.

Hernandez has been serving a two-year prison term from Lancaster County, for possession of methamphetamine and 3rd-degree assault.  Her new sentence will begin after her current term is completed.
