Rosalinda Pralle, fondly known as "Lindy", passed away on Friday, July 26, 2024. Born on January 30, 1928, in rural Bremen, Kansas, Lindy was the embodiment of resilience and hard work. Despite not speaking English until she was five years old and only completing formal education up to the 8th grade, she later attained her GED and an Associates in Food Nutrition. Lindy's fortitude was evident from her youthful days when she worked at a radio plant and the Marysville Hospital during World War II. Her legacy of service continued as a dedicated farm wife who milked cows by hand and later as the Food Service Manager at Southern Public Schools for 16 years. She married Ralph Pralle on November 15, 1947.

Lindy was known for her green thumb, cultivating a beautiful garden and tending to her yard with enthusiasm. She mowed her yard until she was 93 years old. She also found solace in quilting, creating intricate patterns that told stories of her life. In her spare time, Lindy served her community as a Sunday School teacher, sang in the choir, and was involved with the Lutheran Women's Missionary League.

Her dedication to her work, whether at the radio plant, the post office, or in the kitchen of a school, was rivalled only by her devotion to her family. Lindy is survived by her children, Lois Milburn, Glenn (Fran) Pralle, and Ken (Carol) Pralle; grandchildren, Sonya (Richard) Lutze, Nicki (Daren) Petersen, Chris (Ashley) Milburn, Jeremy (Heather) Pralle, Jennifer (Brad) Blankenship, Daneil (Matt) Barnes, Carmen (Brian) Rottinghaus, CJ (Clint) Ruether, Brooke (Andy) Mitchell, and Kelsey (Austin) Gooder, and great grandchildren, RD (Anna) Lutze, Alexa Lutze, Abby and Hannah Petersen, Declan and Molly Milburn, Zach, Zeke, and Cheyenne Blankenship, Elijah, Gideon, Titus, and Luke Barnes, Dietrich, Emma, and Celeste Pralle, Cameron Ottersberg, Isaac and Phillip Rottinghaus, Gavin, Traegen, and Brenna Ruether, Franklin, Neal, and Royce Mitchell, and Elsie Gooder. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ralph Pralle; parents, Henry and Algetta Bartels; sister, Lucille (Reuben) Pralle; brother, Arlen (Elaine) Bartels; and son-in-law, Dennis Milburn.

A service will be held at 1:30 PM on Friday, August 2, 2024 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church with Pastors Greg Stuckwisch and Bill Cornelius officiating. A graveside service will be at the Odell (American) Cemetery prior to the service.
