Diane J. Weishahn, 82, of Plymouth, died Sunday night, July 14, 2024 at Beatrice Health and Rehab. She was born on September 14, 1941 in Beatrice to Arlin and Dorothea (Kraft) Blome. Diane grew up in the Clatonia area and graduated from Clatonia High School in 1959. She married Orlynn E. Weishahn on June 12, 1960 at the Zion Lutheran Church of Clatonia and they moved to Plymouth in 1965. She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Plymouth.  Diane worked at Tri-County Schools, the courthouse and Swingsters. She enjoyed quilting, family history and traveling.

Survivors include her one son, Brian (Val) Weishahn of Plymouth; one grandson, Hayden (Hallie) Weishahn of  Spicewood, TX; one granddaughter, Tara Weishahn and special friend, Eric Noelle of Lincoln; one step-grandson, Jerrod Dorn of Firth; one great-granddaughter, Theodora Weishahn; one brother, Roger (Trudy) Blome of Clatonia; two sisters, Janice (Charles) Schmidt of Clatonia and Patti (Brad) Schwab of Plymouth; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arlin and Dorothea Blome; husband, Orlynn Weishahn, who died on November 4, 2017; one daughter, Julie Ann Weishahn; sister-in-law, Irene Weishahn; brother-in-law, Richard (Marian) Weishahn.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Plymouth with Pastor Justin Dauck officiating. Burial will be at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery of Plymouth. A family prayer service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday at the church. The body will lie in state at the Fox Funeral Home of Beatrice on Tuesday from noon until 8:00 P.M. and then one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.
